It’s been nearly a year since we lost Caroline’s Uncle Jimmy to pancreatic cancer after a courageous eleven month battle. The first photoshoot that we did was of Jimmy and his beautiful family right after he was diagnosed last Fall. I was so honored to have been asked by his wife to take those photos, and I’m so glad they have them to remember him by. It wasn’t until that day that the wheels started turning in my head that I should finally move forward with plans to start my own photography business. Having experienced the reality of having a loved one with a terminal illness, we have come to realize the importance of having beautiful keepsakes to cherish forever. We have decided that in remembrance of Jimmy, Brittain Studios will be offering a 100% free 1- hour photoshoot to any family that has recently been diagnosed or is currently battling a terminal illness. This is not a one-month promotion, but an offer that stands for the next 50 years. There are few things more difficult in this world, and sometimes the last thing people think of is photography.
